stuff to know

(that you probably didn't know you needed to know)

What is your shooting style?

Non-traditional, artistic, and intentional. I like to keep a documentary/photojournalistic style meaning that I am always looking for real moments and genuine reactions to capture. However, i'm always down for a good moody portrait or editorial-esque pose.

How to book:

To secure your date all you need is a signed contract and a paid non-refundable retainer of 50% of your package total. The remaining balance is due 21 days before your elopement day. Payments can be made by good ol' fashioned check or Zelle.

What is Zelle?

It's basically Venmo, but through your banking app! Find Zelle in the mobile banking app of the Zelle partners. If you already have your banking app on your phone, there's no download necessary. If your bank or credit union doesn't offer Zelle yet, just download the Zelle app to get started.

Coverage:

Hours are continuous and can not be split up.

Can we have all of the photos you take include the raw, unedited images?

No siree! I promise to deliver only the best of the best images from your big day. You'll get around 40 images/hour depending on the size of your elopement, amount of details, number of formal family photos, etc.

Travel fees:

I love to travel! If your elopement is more than 90 miles roundtrip from 78758 there will be a travel fee of $1/mile plus an additional $150 if 1.5+ hours from Austin. There is a flat rate travel fee of $500 for stateside elopements and $1,100 for international elopements.

What qualifies as an elopement?

Must be on a weekday and must be less than 12 guests. That's it!

What if my elopement is out of state? What about out of the country?

No problem! I always arrive two days prior to the elopement date unless specified otherwise. I do this to ensure enough travel time/ the ability to scope out the location.

Shot lists:

I have photographed a lot of weddings/elopements so the list I use is more of a mental checklist. The only lists I work from are ones made by the bride and groom for family photos.

Image backup:

As soon as I get home I back everything up in at least two locations and I always keep the images on my memory cards until delivery. I also always carry backup gear to your elopement. Speaking of gear, I'm a Canon gal incase you were wondering. (but you probably weren't)

Image Delivery:

Digital images are hosted in an online gallery where you will be able to download, print, and share your images. USB's are also available for purchase.

Delivery time:

Engagement/bridal sessions are typically delivered within two weeks and elopements/ weddings are delivered in 4-6 weeks.

Why do I have to pay taxes?

“It’s never too early to learn that the government is a greedy piglet that suckles on the taxpayer's teet until they have sore, chapped nipples." - Ron Swanson

you're the girl for me, where can I sign?

just let me know your desired coverage/needs and we will make it all official!
