In the words of Henry David Thoreau:

All good things are wild and free (except wedding photography)

....or something like that

When it comes to photography I don't want to be just another vendor. I want to know you and connect with you that way our time together is genuine and familiar. I am totally invested in your story and what I do so cultivating friendships is something that I strive for.

If you are shopping around for the best deal or if photography isn't a priority for you then we might not be a good fit, but that's okay! There is another photographer out there who can fulfill your needs. It just ain't me babe.

If you like what you see so far then come say hi. Don't let cash monies scare you away from your gut feeling. To secure your date you'll need to send me a signed contract as well as your retainer which is 50% of the wedding collection total. Just get in touch with me and we can make it happen!

Here is a lot of boring text of things that you might be wondering about!

What is your shooting style?

Non-traditional, artistic, and intentional. I like to keep a documentary/photojournalistic style meaning that I am always looking for real moments and genuine reactions to capture. However, i'm always down for a good moody portrait or editorial-esque pose.

Can I see a full wedding gallery?

Heck ya-- I'll be sure to send over some full galleries when you inquire!

Engagement sessions:

Engagement sessions come complimentary with every booked wedding. Why? Great question! Aside from getting awesome photos, engagement sessions serve as a way for us to work together/ get to know one another before your wedding day. Being in front of the camera can be a bit awkward at first, especially if I feel like a stranger to you, so these sessions are a great way to break the ice! You can also swap out the engagement session for an additional hour of wedding day coverage if you'd like!

Second shooter:

I always recommend one! A second shooter is there to capture moments and details needed when my attention is on you. Having another perspective of the day helps to tell your full wedding story. If your wedding will be 50+ guests and/or you are not planning on doing a first look then a second photographer will likely be necessary.

Shot lists:

I have photographed a lot of weddings so the list I use is more of a mental checklist. The only lists I work from are ones made by the bride and groom for family photos!

Can we have all of the photos you take include the raw, unedited images?

No siree! I promise to deliver only the best of the best images from your big day. You'll get 500+ photos depending on the size of your wedding, amount of details, number of formal family photos, etc.

Image backup:

As soon as I get home I back everything up in at least two locations and I always keep the images on my memory cards until delivery. I also always carry backup gear to your wedding. Speaking of gear, i'm a Canon gal incase you were wondering. (but you probably weren't)

Travel:

I love to travel! If your wedding is more than 90 miles roundtrip from 78731 there will be a travel fee of $1/mile plus an additional $150 if 1.5+ hours from Austin. There is a flat rate travel fee of $750 for stateside weddings and $1,500 for international weddings.

Why do I have to pay taxes?

“It’s never too early to learn that the government is a greedy piglet that suckles on the taxpayer's teet until they have sore, chapped nipples." - Ron Swanson

How to book:

To secure your date all you need is a signed contract and a paid non-refundable retainer of 50% of your package total.
